The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Program Manager to join our Business Strategy & Operations Team. This role will be the operational owner of our Financials Product - the core offering that assimilates, validates, and presents financial data on global private and public companies.
You will take full ownership of this product's operational programs, overseeing their outcomes from ideation to implementation. Your mandate is to ensure the Financials Product is accurate, scalable, and delivers exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Data Program Planning and Execution
- Own End-to-End Delivery: Execute end-to-end high-impact and high-visibility programs specific to financial data acquisition, standardization, and quality assurance.
- Customer Value Focus: Plan and execute initiatives that continuously enhance the depth, accuracy, and timeliness of our financial data offering.
- Process Improvement & Defect Reduction: Continuously identify opportunities to improve existing metrics, specifically targeting the reduction of system defects and non-compliance in financial data processes.
2. Strategic Data Sourcing & Regulatory Oversight
- Global Sourcing & Change Management: Research and identify reliable sources of financial data in new geographies to expand product coverage. Monitor the regulatory landscape to stay ahead of any changes affecting existing data sources.
3. Monitoring Product Growth and Performance
- KPI Ownership: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the Financials Product, such as data coverage, accuracy rates, and assimilation cycle time, to assess departmental performance.
- Reporting: Own weekly/monthly reporting and set up MIS (Management Information Systems) and reports to track and communicate the performance of the Financials Product to senior leadership.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership to drive continuous operational and product improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in program management, business strategy, or operations, ideally within a data-intensive or financial services context.
- Financial Expertise: Prior experience in or deep familiarity with corporate financial statements (e.g., Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Product Automation: Prior experience in driving automation projects with technical/product teams, specifically relating to data assimilation or validation.
- Academic: An MBA and/or professional financial certification (e.g., CA/CFA) is highly valued for the strategic financial context this role requires.
