About the Role
As a Senior Product Specialist at Tracxn, you will lead client onboarding and integration for our API products, ensuring a seamless technical and business experience. You will act as a bridge between customers, product, and engineering teams—owning API integration strategy, guiding clients through setup and implementation, and driving post-integration success.
This is a client-facing, strategic role that combines technical expertise, communication excellence, and leadership. You’ll also mentor junior specialists and play a key part in shaping our API product processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- API Expertise & Product Enablement:
- Develop a deep understanding of Tracxn’s API offerings, architecture, and data flow.
- Partner with the product and engineering teams to evaluate client requirements and shape technical solutions.
- Recommend enhancements to improve API usability and client adoption.
- Client Engagement & Technical Leadership:
- Lead technical discussions with client stakeholders to define integration requirements and architecture.
- Own the sales pipeline for API clients—supporting pre-sales efforts and crafting technical proposals.
- Manage end-to-end client onboarding, from sandbox testing to production rollout.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions tailored to client needs.
- Post-Integration Support & Growth:
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients post-integration, ensuring smooth API operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and guide clients on optimizing performance and scaling usage.
- Identify upsell opportunities based on client engagement and evolving use cases.
- Leadership & Process Excellence:
- Mentor junior specialists, providing guidance on integration standards and client management.
- Drive improvements in onboarding documentation, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance overall API adoption and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or related field preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in API integration, product consulting, or technical solutioning.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, data transformation, and integration workflows.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or lead junior team members.
